Ribbon range Sunlounger by David Harrison for Robert Plumb
An extension of the Ribbon range by David Harrison of Design daily, the Sunlounger takes the same concept of 50mm strips of steel and combines them with New Guinea rosewood slats. The back is adjustable from flat to nearly upright while a full-length pad is available to add comfort. Made from 304 stainless steel with a two-part painting process for durability the Ribbon range has now grown to a collection of seven pieces including a coffee table, sofa and armchair, with a side table and dining table available on the website soon.
Ribbon range sofa and coffee table in white by David Harrison for Robert Plumb
Inspired by Bauhaus tubular steel furniture of the 1930’s the Ribbon sofa uses 50mm flat bar stainless steel to create a simple long and low platform with shaped back cushions held in place by a wrap-around backrest. Shown in this image in Westbury Textiles ‘Outdoor Linnen’ fabric – a hardwearing linen look textile with a little texture and available in soft natural colours. All the Ribbon range feature a two-part painting process for increased durability. The circular Ribbon coffee table features a travertine top as standard but other stone choices are available. 900mm in diameter it is 305mm high. Shown here in Dulux White Satin powder coat. Also shown are the Delta 45 and Kyoto planters from Swisspearl and ceramic Diablo stool by Cameron Williams.

Tribeca chair (with or without arms) by CMP Design for Pedrali
A modern interpretation of the wire patio chairs common in the 1950 and 60’s, the Tribeca chair by CMP Design for Pedrali uses an innovative flexible material made from extruded PVC with a nylon core. The flexibility of these fine straps adds a distinct element of comfort, which inspired its design. Stackable and available in seven frame colours from neutrals such as white and brown to fiery terracotta, the chair works across a wide range of decors.
Ribbon range Fixed Chaise in white by David Harrison for Robert Plumb
We have been selling the Ribbon Fixed Chaise in its signature green colour (Dulux Mangrove – Matt) for about a year but have only recently photographed the collection in its white form. Small revisions have been made to improve the upholstery pad fit and new more hard-wearing feet have been added. Like much of the Ribbon range the Fixed Chaise utilizes 50mm stainless steel and New Guinea rosewood slats. A fine, precisely detailed seat pad and headrest are offered as optional accessories. These are held in place by stainless steel press studs with headrest able to be positioned at two different heights. Also shown is the Porto stool by Michel Charlot and the Kolonna planter both from Swisspearl.
